He is an Editorial board member, Scientific Report (Nature portfolio journal) and Founding Editorial board member, Scientific Review, Springer Nature. He was National Co-coordinator, Prime minister research fellowship (PMRF), Govt. of India, and Member, National coordination committee of PMRF, Govt. of India from 2020 to 2022. He wasDelegate, IAEA, UNO Viena in the year 2012 and 2014 under CRP scheme, DAAD Fellow, Year 2010., DST-DFG Fellow, Year 2005, DST-BMBF Fellow, Year 2000. Member (India) in International Alliance of Societies for a Sustainable Future (SFS), Germany, Life member, Materials research society of India, Life member, Magnetic society of India. He has published two books, twelve book chapters and review articles, more than 150 research articles and offered three NPTEL courses.
